Dress up Days Oh Deer......

A huge wonderful collection arrived Oh Deer  by Mo Mo  it fabulous with lots of bright colours.
The collection is quite extensive, lots of dots, large stripes, birds and deers and l have layer cakes, charm squares and jelly rolls as well. The quilt picture will turn up next week (l forgot to take the picture)
Dress Up Days is also a fun collection.
There are 3 panels to choose from to make up a doll that has a change of clothes very reasonably priced at $11.40 per panel. A quick gift idea.

I have also reduced the price of the remaining flannel to $17.00 per metre( very good quality.)

Birds and Bunnies

When Jan Kerton visited the other week to teach, she showed me her new pattern that has been released   "Birds on A Wire". Kits are now available at the shop. Blanketing also available.
Jan also left a sample of " Bouncing Bunnies" the difference with this sample is that the Bunnies are on Double Velour instead of the usual Wool Cashmere, it makes it very soft and cuddly.

So yes, l have kits , l have wool /cashmere Blanketing in cream, navy blue, red ,light blue, green etc , l have the velour animal packs to make extra animals, l have some larger pieces of double velour, l have extra threads so l think l pretty well have it all covered, even classes with Jan Kerton.

Lyns wonderful quilt

A rather shy Lyn popped in, ready for her next project and luckily her Saville Row quilt( designed by Judy Newman) made the journey with her.  I just thought that it was well worth taking a photo of this great quilt, Lyn also hand quilted  using cotton perle thread, a task that was a marathon, with a few soft tissue injuries, but the results are brilliant. All l can say is lucky grandson who will be the recipient of this quilt.
The boxes behind the counter ended up being this great collection called Tavern Collection Green.
Its not often that you get a collection of all greens so l thought it was well worthwhile getting.
Plaids are back..........still find it hard to imagine these again in trousers..........
a new range of coloured piping and bias tape also.
